CATAMARAN EXCURSIONS TO ASINARA

Discover the magic of Asinara National Park with ours catamaran excursions from Stintino, on board of our catamaran Mary III: an unforgettable day between crystal-clear sea, uncontaminated nature and relaxation.

A day on a catamaran to discover Asinara

We set sail every morning from Marina di Stintino at 9:30 a.m., to share an authentic experience in the waters of northwest Sardinia. Return is scheduled around 5:00 p.m.

There navigation takes place along the eastern side of the island, protected from the Mistral wind and full of wildly charming coves. Only authorized operators like us can access these reserved areas, mooring at the Park's official buoys.

Swimming stops and landings on the island of Asinara

During the catamaran excursion to Asinara we stop several times to swim in clear, turquoise waters, perfect for those who loves swimming or snorkeling. Usually, we also do a stop on land at one of the island's landing places: Fornelli, Cala Reale or Cala d'Oliva.

Depending on your location, you may:

  • admire the wild horses around the old Fornelli prison;
  • visit the CRAMA, a marine animal recovery center, in Cala Reale;
  • explore the small village of Cala d'Oliva and the Central Branch, part of the old penitentiary that can now be visited.

  • With a bit of luck, you might even encounter the white donkeys, the symbol of the Park.
